Imran A Qadir


After completing his Diploma in Architectural Drafting in 1993 at the Sydney Institute of Technology, Imran joined as an assistant architect at Maldives Airports Authority and was leading the civil works unit. Imran joined Gedor Architecture in 1994 on a part time basis as the Architectural Designer. He resigned from Maldives Airports Company in 1998 and became full time at Gedor Architecture. There he was leading the drafting pool. In 2000, Imran became a director of Gedor and took the role of Manager.  He manages the projects carried out by Gedor and ensures projects are delivered in time and on budget. In addition Imran’s roles include, project management, designing, construction inspections of architectural and structural work, managing the drafting pool and general office management.

He has involved in almost all the projects at various capacities and levels. His project management work includes, Dhiraagu Head Office Buidling, STO Head Office Buidling, Maldives Monetary Authority Building, Maldives Post Limited Head Office Building, Kandu Oiy Giri Fish Processing factory, Bank of Maldives Island Branches, Club Med Kani water bungalows, M. Nirolhu and Shaheed Ali Mosque.
